Ban Nanazel is the leader of the Red Army, the army the launched a civil war on Faria. He is given commands by Shapur and relunctantly follows them. His operation goes well until Leonard's Team arrive in the Lost Forest. Then his troops are stopped from capturing Miu and soon Nanazel's Zore Crystals are destroyed. When Leonard's Team and Ban Lorias assault Faria, trying to retake it, he decides to confront Leonard and his White Knight, ignoring Shapur's cautions. He confronts Leonard by Father Yggdra's tree. He becomes a Gigas to counter Leonard's Knight. His Gigas is red and black with two swords and the ability to use fire. But Leonard defeats him and he is killed. His army is defeated by Ban Lorias and Faria is retaken and the civil war comes to an end.
