Floraine is the diseased wife of Valtos, biological mother of Cisna, and adoptive mother of Cyrus.

She was the Queen of Balandor, wife of King Valtos, and Mother of Princess Cisna. She was known for allowing Cyrus to become a part of her family so long as he helped to defend Balandor.
She died some time before the events of the story take place; her death was at the hands of an " Assassin."
